A beautiful August afternoon on the Mississippi River provided the backdrop for AGC of Minnesota members to hear from prominent Minnesota elected officials and AGC of America staff about the importance of construction investment and the need to endorse candidates who support the construction industry.

AGC members were welcomed to St. Paul by Mayor Randy Kelly. Congressman Mark Kennedy discussed federal transportation funding. U.S. Senator Norm Coleman’s Chief of Staff, Erich Mische, and 2nd District Congressional Candidate Teresa Daily also addressed the group.

AGC of America was represented by Rebecca Nichols and Heidi Blumenthal who discussed the need and purpose of supporting the national PAC.

The event was a great success and raised significant dollars for the AGC of America Political Action Committee. Thank you to those who attended and to the event sponsors and contributors whose generous contributions will help advance the interests of the construction industry in Washington.
