Saw Safety Workshop
On June 23, AGC of Minnesota, in conjunction with RJF Industries, the Laborers Apprenticeship Training Center, Stihl, and The Builders Group, conducted a four-hour saw safety workshop. The purpose of the workshop was to review safe operating principles and techniques of both cut-off and chain saws. The 35 participants viewed classroom presentations and observed cutting demonstrations. Each student received a Stihl DVD on cut-off saw safety, a CD loaded with saw safety PowerPoint presentations, tool box talk files, saw safety video clips, and much more.
