Congratulations to Thor Construction Inc. (#1); Shaw-Lundquist Associates Inc. (#3), Bald Eagle Erectors Inc. (#17), and Mtec Electric Inc. (#23). Congratulations to Susan Rani, President of Rani Engineering Inc. Susan is one of Minneapolis-St. Paul Business Journal’s 2010 Minority Business Award winners. M. A. Mortenson Jr., chairman of Mortenson Construction received the Lifetime Achievement award for the Ernest & Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2010 Award in the Upper Midwest Region. On May 18th, Dave Adolfson, Adolfson & Peterson Construction Chairman Emeritus and Founder of Construction Career Training Program (CCTP), received the Governor’s “Best Practices Award” for “helping improve the lives of people in need”. The Minnesota Department of Corrections’ Commissioner, Joan Fabian, presented this award to CCTP for its accomplishments in assisting just over 300 former inmates get meaningful jobs in the past seven years.
