how did you get started in construction?
My friend/uncle was a finisher and he thought I would enjoy it. He knew I was a good worker, and it's a great way to support my family.
What do you enjoy most about your work?
I love working outside all year. Always something going on and changing. The jobsite is an interesting place with lots going on all the time. You can't get bored; there is always something to do. You go go all day long, which is great for a busy body like me. I enjoy my coworkers and the fun we can have while building some great bridges
What advice would you give a young girl interested in construction?
Don't be afraid to give it a try. You can totally do it. I wish I had done it when I was younger. There is nothing to be afraid of.
