AGC of Minnesota can help administer or resolve conflicts with an owner, another contractor, employee or union. This process is explained in AGC’s construction contracts or collective bargaining agreement. In short, AGC can help facilitate an early conversation, help select or appoint a mediator who is completely neutral to help the parties resolve the dispute, or appoint an arbitrator who is completely neutral and empowered to decide the dispute with finality. There are advantages and disadvantages of this program. The chief advantage is that it helps to end quickly a dispute in a fair manner, inexpensively. The disadvantage is that it lacks the full procedure available through a court process or other dispute resolution process. For instance, once an arbitrator’s decision is rendered, there is no appeal as there would be in a court hearing. The following fees apply to each party:

Member & Union Price
$300 / dispute
