WIC Week 2026: Pamela Wilson

Pamela Wilson

assistant superintendent
Adolfson & Peterson Construction
ABOUT pam:

With more than eleven years of experience in the construction industry, I bring a strong technical background and a proven track record of progression from laborer to commercial carpenter to my current role as Assistant Superintendent. My foundation in the trades began with formal carpentry training at Summit Academy and has been strengthened through hands‑on experience across a wide range of commercial projects.

Before entering construction, I spent twelve years practicing as a Registered Nurse. This experience sharpened my ability to think critically, problem-solve under pressure, and communicate effectively—skills that continue to enhance my leadership in the field. My early exposure to construction came from working alongside my dad on his rental properties, where I developed practical skills and a passion for building from a young age.

I am the parent of four adult children—Makiyah, Brandi, Dominick, and Noah—and a proud grandparent to Ryder. My home life is full, with four dogs and a flock of chickens that keep things lively.

One of the most rewarding projects in my career has been The Craftsman, a five‑story office building with 2½ levels of underground parking that will serve as the regional headquarters for Adolfson & Peterson. This ground‑up, post‑tension build has provided an invaluable opportunity to expand my expertise, from footings and topping out to elevators, landscaping, advanced window systems, and decorative precast installation.

I am currently participating in Leadership Blueprint as I work toward advancing into a Superintendent role. I build trusting relationships with the inspectors and clients. I also hold certifications in Radio Frequency Shielded Enclosure Design, Testing and TEMPEST Compliance, SWPPP, off road telehandler, and OSHA 30.

Outside of work, I enjoy an active lifestyle. My partner and I own a cleaning company and t-shirt printing company. In the summer, we also participate in watercross racing (snowmobiles on water), and spend quality time with family and friends. During the winter months, we enjoy snowmobiling—weather permitting—and time with our little family.
