AGC HR Forum: October 2026

Open to AGC members, the AGC HR Forum meetings are held monthly, September through May. Forums will be held in a hybrid format.

We’re switching things up this month! Join us for an engaging afternoon at Rachel Contracting, where the October HR Forum will feature timely insights, practical takeaways, and plenty of time to connect with fellow HR professionals.

We’ll begin with a practical look at building an effective workplace wellness program—including where to start and how to make it manageable. In our vendor spotlight, Mary Kruse, CEO and owner of HealthSource Solutions, will explain how her team helps organizations of all sizes develop programs tailored to their needs. She’ll also highlight useful resources and share examples of successful wellness initiatives.

Next, AGC Annual Partner Bassford Remele will provide an update on developments at the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP). The session will explore affirmative action, the Fourteenth Amendment, changing federal and state requirements, and practical considerations for navigating the road ahead.

In response to a suggestion from an HR Forum participant, Bassford Remele will also share best practices for the Minnesota Paid Leave program. Come ready to ask questions, exchange ideas, and share what has worked for your organization.

To close the program, our own Yolanda McIntosh, AGC’s Director of Organizational Wellbeing & Culture, will offer an overview of the training programs available for AGC members to support employee safety days and spring season-startup meetings. It’s never too early to start planning content for those important events!

After the program, join us in the Rachel Contracting lounge for a casual networking happy hour. Meet someone new, reconnect with colleagues, and continue the conversation with peers from across the industry.
