Open to AGC members only, the 2025 AGC Mini Summit will provide updates on the latest legislative and legal issues impacting the Minnesota construction industry.
Greg Norfleet, Director of MN DEED’s Paid Family and Medical Leave Program, will spill the tea on PFML compliance, tax, and administration questions, and answer your questions. Please submit any questions during registration or by emailing Mike (mschechter@agcmn.org)..
But that's not all...
Top AGC member lawyers Beth LaCanne (Bassford Remele) and Nena Lenz (Fredrikson) will update you on the latest changes in employment and contracting issues, including ESST, rest breaks, Davis-Bacon/Prevailing Wage, and FARS changes.
But wait, that's still not all!
AGC’s advocacy team will let you know what happened during this year’s legislative season, and our legal-labor department will fill you in on important issues in 2025 labor negotiations.
Plus, we have a bonus session with ERISA attorney Amanda Cefalu (Reinhart) presenting the top mistakes or misunderstandings when working with union fringe benefit funds and how to avoid these mistakes.
For all
this you might expect to pay hundreds of dollars. But no! This event is
open and free to AGC of Minnesota members.
And if
you act now, we’ll throw in networking opportunities for in-person
registrants.
Check-in will be at 8:45 at the AGC Office (525 Park Street N. | Suite 110 | St. Paul, MN 55103), and the program will run from 9:00 am to 12:45 pm. In-person participation is highly recommended, but a Zoom link will be sent to those wishing to participate remotely. Parking passes for the AGC surface lot will be emailed to registrants ahead of the event, and will be available on site.
Please view a recording of one of the intro webinars ahead of the
Mini Summit to maximize time for questions and answers with Director Norfleet.
Please submit questions during your registration or by emailing Mike (mschechter@agcmn.org) by July 14 to pass along to
the agency ahead of time.
